Bob Wolfman has chops and technical virtuosity to quiet even the most discerning critic.  Wolfman truly loves to play and sing his heart out.  He has fun on stage and so do his fans always enjoying his explosive solos, but then Bob will tear at their heart strings, bringing tears to their eyes with a beautiful soulful ballad. 


Wolfman has performed and/or recorded with Larry Coryell, Chick Corea, Grover Washington Jr, Joe Beck,  Robben Ford, Sonny Landreth, Victor Bailey, Kenwood Dennard, Tommy Cambell, Jimmy Earl, Toni Lynn Washington, Arlen Roth, and James Montgomery.


Bob Wolfman grew up in New York City and began studying guitar at the age of 11, started performing at age thirteen, and by the time he reached high school was doing studio work as a session player in Manhattan.  Bob has performed with such greats as Chick Corea, Larry Coryell, Joe Beck, Grover Washington, and Robben Ford.  Having toured many countries on three continents as a performing and recording guitarist, Bob has a truly eclectic background, with a deep appreciation and understanding of contemporary music and styles.


​Bob graduated in 1980 from the highly acclaimed Berklee College of Music in Boston with a Performance Degree and more than two years as a Music Ed. major.  He performs with his band for enthusiastic audiences with sold-out appearances at notable music venues throughout New England, the East Coast and Europe.  With his more than 30 years of teaching experience, Bob Wolfman brings much more to his private teaching as well as his online music courses than one might ordinarily expect to find.


He developed and refined his unique and innovative approach as a result of thousands of hours of hands-on teaching experience with people of all ages and playing styles.  Bob’s time tested teaching style and methods are fun and effective, assuring fast results.  Bob Wolfman is one of the most respected and highly sought after music instructors in the Boston, North Shore, and Southern New England areas.


Liked for his warmth and humor, and admired for his skill, expertise and integrity, Wolfman’s School of Music has grown rapidly as has its large number of music students.  The school has developed a great reputation as an affordable alternative for high quality music instruction.
